ASSISTANT MANAGER, R&D

Location: Dahej _Bharuch

Key Responsibilities

Develop safe, innovative, competitive, scalable chemical processes

Perform literature and patent search for projects, well conversant with scifinder, reaxys

Perform experimental work independently for assigned projects

Optimization of chemical processes

Ensure proper methods to assess result of a process step by appropriate purification and analysis

Transfer optimized processes to pilot plant/commercial plant

Work as process specialist for trouble shooting on plant scale

Ensure exhaustive documentation of the experiments done in the labs and summarize in a development report the results obtained.

Actively promotes and strictly enforces the company's safety policies and rules in the lab and throughout the site.

We Value

Ph.D. in Chemistry with in-depth knowledge of organic synthesis

Strong exposure to various analytical techniques such as IR, NMR, Mass, HPLC, GC and others

Basic knowledge of Process safety and Process engineering

Good understanding and previous exposure to pilot plant/ Industrial plant

Curious, open minded with excellent communication skill for successful teamwork

3 to 7 years' experience in similar kind of industries
