Job Description

1) Company SCM SOP to be followed wherever company inventory is managed. 2) Procurement of ear plugs, Safety shoes, respiratory masks, particulate masks, gloves, cotton coverall full sleeves, Industrial googles, hearing protector. Procure spares, consumable 3) All the equipment and plant consumables like lube oil, chemicals etc. shall be procured from OEM / OEMs authorized sub-vendors / vendors recommended by Vedanta along with the necessary test 4) certificates/ quality certificates from third party QC. Deployment of trained personnel and other provisions for scheduled performance of workshop operations (welding, brazing etc.) to meet min max Quantity in line with Vedanta procurement policy. 5) Procurement and maintenance of necessary critical spares (capital, insurance, and O & M spares) shall be in Contractor\'s scope. Contractor will be provided VED classification document and information of current minimum stock quantity. Contractor shall perform criticality assessment analysis annually as per Vedanta guidelines and maintain the inventory levels accordingly. The cost shall be paid by Vedanta on actuals on the GRN basis. 6) Procurement of equipment / plants from OEMs or OEMs authorized sub vendors along with the necessary test certificates/quality certificates from third party QC. 7) Management of inventory control system in a cost-effective way to ensure that spare parts, consumables, chemicals, materials, supplies, etc. are properly stored and accounted for and that adequate supplies are available at all times to support daily operation and maintenance of the plant Maintaining Tool crib, special tools, and tackles for all kinds of operation and maintenance viz Electrical, Instruments, Mechanical, Process etc/Procurement & deployment of Lifting tools & tackles will be contractor\'s scope etc.
