Responsibilities

Ensure 100% quality is achieved as per Customer requirements, and Brings Customer Delight

verification and inspection arrangements are established for the product/project consistent with criticality, statutory and contractual obligations.

• Build Quality Systems and procedures to ensure 100% quality output. Lead and manage the quality function from new product conception through to warranty analysis to ensure a proactive culture so that customers receive the product to the highest standard of quality possible.
• Effective implementation of set procedures and systems as per quality management systems and customer requirements.
• Prepare daily QC report regarding inspections, material, Nonconformance etc.
• Take part in payment issue of Third-party inspection on calculated man-hours & man month basis.
• Ensure 100% Supplier Quality through systems and procedures.
• Manage supplier non-conformance and SDR (Supplier Deviation Request) activities, and identify and drive process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Heading technical staff of members to ensure quality function at vendor place, in-house.
• Technical Problem solving using 7 QC tools and 8 D model.
• Calibration of Tools, gauges and measuring devices. Should know calibration standards.
• Work to prevent non-conformances, customer complaints, concession and rework alongside Manufacturing and Operations to develop corrective and preventative actions within required timeframe.

Authority

• To develop processes and procedures congenial to achieving 100 % Quality.
• To certify that the manufactured product complies to quality standards or reject the FG if not meeting quality requirements.
• Certify confirmation of gauges and measuring devices in line with Intl Standards.

• Accountable for 100% Quality of products

Quantitative Results (KRA)

• 100% quality output Defect free Quality product & 100% Supplier Quality.
• To ensure proper processes in house - First pass yield in customer inspection to be 100 %.
• Effective stage Inspection- In house & Vendors place.

Job Requirement

• 12 Years of experience in QC in Heavy fabrication industry (Preferred from heavy fabrication & structural steel - product manufacturing companies).
• 8 -10 Experience in Fabrication Quality (Welding and painting defects).
• Should be well conversant with national & International standards, 5S system, 8D, ISO-9001:2015 standards & 7 QC tools.
