Job title: Assistant manager Quality


Job function and sub function: Quality Assurance -New project & plant quality.


Reports to (role): Quality Manager.


Team size (Direct and total): 4-6 Nos direct report.


Works closely with: CFT, Quality Team & Project team.
Location: Chakan
Key responsibilities: Overall quality function & new project.
Experience: Diploma/ B.E. with 12-15 years from good organization.


Role & responsibilities

1. Lead and execute technical projects in Exhaust.as per APQP timeline.
2. Strong knowledge on developmental related activities on sheet metal component / APQP
3. Strong knowledge on mechanical parts related to the application design.
4. Alternators provide technical guidance to the team members / engineers in challenging situations
5.Develop prototypes for customer and internal validation as pe project milestone.
6. Design feasibility, GD&T feasibility CFT meetings. Review & sign of DMSO, TRSO, CIR, SOR etc.
7. Prepare PFMEA as per PFD & link with DFMEA, SC/CC List, PTDB, Poka yoke, lessen learned etc.
8. Prepare all PPAP documents, Tracking APQP & product safe launch.
9. Leader for Customer & Internal PTR, Action closer & monitoring. Handling M-Setu, 3D exp, BMG & BEON.
10. Evaluate DFMEA of parts and Assemblies and Conduct Technical Design Reviews
11. Responsible for controlling all Prototype/Production, Control Plan and Inspection reports
12. Develop new products as per customer specs
13. Responsible for managing development team and allocate resources to projects
14. Manage development team for multiple purpose, from new concept to till failure analysis
15. Execute and approve gauge DAP/Gauge concept with supplier.
16. Handle customer PPAP, Internal PPAP & action closer.
17. Monitor in-house rejection, Pareto analysis and action on top issues & team support.
18. Handle customer complaint & tracking register with supportive documents.
19. Handle different customer process audit, PPAP audit & supplier assessments audit, IATF audit etc
20. Handle SQA team & support for key quality/supply issues, supplier PPM monitoring.
21. Handle std room & known about calibration, CMM method.
22. Leader for product & process validation, issues resolution & team monitoring.
23. Known managements report BOS, & monitor KPI as per target.
24. Familiar with SAP system & respective function wise approval
25. Handle overall quality functions & team monitoring of customer complaint, Inprocess, SQA, Std room & new project.


referred candidate profile:

1. Has more than 12 years in new product development of any complex
auto components like Exhaust systems.


2. Engineering graduate/ Postgraduate with experience in the
development and testing of sheet metal component of Exhaust systems for
automotive/Power generation applications.


3. Background in Exhaust systems products development
will be an added advantage.
