It has two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Vadodara (Gujarat) and Mysore (Karnataka). The manufacturing facilities are accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.The Company has a capacity to manufacture around 40,000 KM per annum of power cables, 3600 KM per annum of instrumentation cables, 6 lakh core KM per annum of jelly filled (copper) telecom cables, 6 lakh fibre KM of optical fibre cables, 4000 MTs of Railway Contact Wire and 2000 MTs of Railway Catenary Wire.KEC entered the cables business by acquiring RPG Cables in 2010. • Responsible for processes like standing, conducting standing, CCV, Screening, aluminium or lead screening, etc.
• Take care of process parameter as per the manufacturing specifications
• Ensure there is no over consumption of materials and manage scrap as per the Bill of Material (BOM)
• Planning & Scheduling for Cable Plant according to the Customer\'s order.
• Planning for Raw material, Machine, Manpower technically and Shop floor end.
• Resolving technical issues on the shop floor.
• Maintaining Consumption report, Daily Production report.
• Time study for increasing productivity.
• Analysis and recommendation of solution for the frequent Problems.
• Achieving targets within stipulated time period by proper Machine planning and execution while maintaining quality.
• Various methods Scrap control and taking steps towards minimizing scrap

Skill/ CompetenciesTechnical -

• Knowledge of self management teams (SMT) (Exclusively for Vadodara plant)
• Product knowledge

Functional:

• Knowledge about national and international specifications of cables
• Responsible for keeping a check on product quality

Behavioral:

• Good in Communication & Presentation Skills (International Business Standard)
• JDE system skills
• Problem solving skills (six sigma experience)
