Job Description

Purpose of Position:
The purpose of the position is to review and monitor the line efficiency and suggest continuous improvement ideas in order to improve the productivity rate and meet the quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Would be held responsible for implementation of standard processes and tools as per VBS Norms
2. Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
3.. Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
4. Key KPIs would include, OTD, 5S and Efficiency improvement
5. Skill development of deployed resources and increasing their UPH standards through continuous training.

• Education & Experience:

Total Experience in years: 10 \xe2\x80\x93 12 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
Graduation/ Degree: B.E Mechanical Background and Skills:
1. 10 \xe2\x80\x93 12 Years of experience in manufacturing function in auto component manufacturing units.
2. Technical knowledge in handling critical machining lines \xe2\x80\x93 (CNC, Conveyors, etc.)
3. Strong orientation to systems and processes. Exposure in implementation of new technologies and systems in the machining line
4. Knowledge on lean manufacturing principles, 5s , etc. is required.
5. Handling of both permanent and contractual employees in the shop floor is a prerequisite.
6. Handling training / skill development programs to nurture talent and develop people.
7. Basic knowledge on labor laws would be an added advantage.
