  • Completing daily data checks for inbound data within Surveillance.
  • The escalation of data issues to Surveillance IT/Surveillance product management.
  • The tracking of data issues through to resolution.
  • The collation of weekly and monthly production issues reporting using MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint.
  • Working with Surveillance IT on the improvement in the operation of Surveillance data controls.
  • Ensuring the ongoing adherence to Surveillance Data Management (DMAN) standards.
  • Support the Product and Data Assurance development teams to assist with the onboarding of new feeds, data checks, and models to the Data Assurance Dashboard, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collation of alert counts and trends to support monthly model governance checks.
  • Support Global Product Managers in alert review forums, providing commentary and rationale where required
Requirements
  • Experience of working with datasets/metrics.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • The ability to define and maintain procedure documents.
  • Advance MS Excel skills.
  • Experience of IT tools such as JIRA
  • Experience of working closely with IT and Project team.
  • An understanding of the three lines of defence construct as defined within HSBC.
  • Experience of MSS products (Foreign Exchange , Fixed Income, Equities) would be useful but not essential.
  • Experience of the HSBC Data Management framework.
  • Experience supporting IT initiatives, e.g. undertaking user acceptance testing of changes.
