Business Title: Assistant Manager Process

Reports to : Sr. Manager Process

Role Purpose Statement :

• To Maintain to shift activity for edible oil refinery, Hydrogenation and fractionation plant operation.
• Handling the maintenance activity of Refineries, fractionation, hydrogenation, Interesterification, unloading, bulk loading, acid oil plants.
• Managing production planning and sharing the plan in micro level to all shift executives for the clarity in execution.

Main Accountabilities :

• Maintain Safety frequency & severity Index as per Company Target.
• To reduce repair & maintenance cost.
• To maintain consumption of utilities, chemical & manpower as per the budgeted figures.
• To reduce variable cost at processing centers - refinery / boiler house against budgeted nos.
• To increase the efficiency of each section by better output and reduced down time.
• To improve process activities by adopting Kaizen in the work area.
• Weekly/ Monthly MIS report generation.
• Review refinery standards and process optimization.
• Handling the maintenance activity of Refineries, fractionation, hydrogenation, Interesterification, unloading, bulk loading, acid oil plants.
• Managing production planning and sharing the plan in micro level to all shift executives for the clarity in execution





Key Performance Indicators :

• Plan V/s Production monitoring, finding the gaps and taking actions to mitigate the same.
• Safety Norms - No LTI and complying the guidelines of BPS safety, process safety, BGSMS audit compliance.
• Ensure 100% food safety & complying the guidelines on BPS QFS Criteria.
• Cost saving initiatives and OEE improvement.

Management/Leadership :

• Should be capable of handling team

Knowledge and Technical :

• Refining process including related activities , Cottonseed, Sun, Canola ,Soya and palm oil processing, Deodorizer, Separators ,CIE & hydrogenation etc
• Knowledge of W&M, FSSAI, Inventory Management, Manpower Management, Legal Compliances etc
• SAP Knowledge in PP module.

Education/Experience :

• B.Tech in oil technology/ Chemical engineering
• 5+ years in Edible oil Refinery
