A Position Overview Position Title Assistant Manager Department Process Excellence ( Learning and Development (L&D) ) Level/ Band Assistant Manager /301 Role Summary The Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator with Vendor Management responsibilities plays a vital role in facilitating the development and delivery of training programs within the organization. This role includes managing external vendors, coordinating training activities, and ensuring a seamless learning experience for employees. B Organizational Relationships Reports To Sr. Manager- Process Excellence Supervises None C Job Dimensions Internal Stakeholders All Function and Department Heads of Operations All Business Functions & Training Teams Marketing, HR, IT, BIU team, Finance External Tata Sons & AIA D Key Result Areas (Roles & Responsibilities) 1. Vendor Management: - Identify and evaluate external training vendors and partners. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure a reliable supply of training resources. 2 . Training Coordination: - Collaborate with internal departments and subject matter experts to identify training needs. - Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and webinars. - Ensure training materials and resources are available and accessible to participants. - Maintain training calendars and communicate training schedules to employees. 3 . Learning Program Support: - Assist in the design and development of training programs and materials. - Track and report on training program effectiveness and participant feedback. - Support the implementation of e-learning platforms and tools. - Assist with the evaluation and selection of learning technologies. 4. Administrative Tasks: - Handle logistics for training events, including room bookings, equipment setup, and catering. - Maintain accurate records of training attendance and completion. - Manage the budget for training programs and vendor contracts. - Prepare regular reports on training activities and expenses. 5. Compliance and Quality Assurance: - Ensure training programs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. - Conduct quality checks on training content and delivery. - Implement feedback and continuous improvement processes for training materials and vendors. Implements process improvements and recommendations within the context of overall business processes. Identifies resource implications. Ability to alter conventional processes and highlight challenges that can be enabled with technology. Stays calm in ambiguous or demanding technological changes in one\'s area of work. Identifies critical connections and patterns in information/data and is able to analyze verbal and numerical data for fucntional excellence. Recognises causes and consequences of data related actions that are not readily apparent Domain Knowledge Ability to introduce new workflows and templates for continuous workflow improvement. Ability to ensure smooth operations of the improvement plan through analyzing relevant data and statistical reports. Ability to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the data.
