About the role Responsible for timely shipment of goods, Planning/Scheduling the shipment by working closely with the sales and production department, coordinating with the Transport Vendors and working on SAP ERP. Logistics Manager: Job Requirement To Manage and lead the entire supply chain management and to execute plans for the timely dispatch of finished goods to extend support to the Sales team with an objective to achieve the targeted revenue for business. Role Summary The incumbent is responsible to ensure right products are delivered to right location on time, ensuring quality & cost in effective way. Oversees distribution and transportation to the customers/warehouse. Managed finished goods/stock, operations transportation, and logistics processes in coordination with sales, warehouse, logistics providers transporters and Dealers. Create best practices, policies, and processes across the organization to streamline operational performance and processes to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements. Duties & Responsibilities Planning & managing - logistics, warehouse, transportation, customer, adherence to standard operating procedures. Monitoring the stock inward and outward process is proper without compromising TAT as per the business requirement. Assess and recommend an ideal mode of transportation which is effective on the basis of time, cost and other affecting factors. Responsible for monitoring the warehouse to maintain service logs, safety records and other legal documents. Negotiation with transporters and other vendors for the cost effective factor. Conduct stock audits for each depot on a monthly basis and take necessary actions if find any deviation. Responsible for the Security and accountability of stock. Key Result Areas Addressing grievances and identifying appropriate solutions. Implementation and ensuring the adherence to unique standard operating procedures. Monitoring and controlling the expenses. Tracking transport and warehouse accuracy. Coordination to streamline the end to end operations without any deviation. Job Specification Education: MBA/B.Tech/Bsc in Logistics/ Operations from an institution of repute. Experience: 5-7 Years of experience in SCM, Logistics under manufacturing like industry. Skills: Planning Skills, Coordination skills, Negotiation skills to coordinate with the transporters & other vendors. Good oral & written communication skills (English Hindi or any other languages). Suitability Factors People Management, Change Management, Relationship building skills, Business orientation and selling sense, Sense of ownership and accountability, Time management and result orientation.
