Job Description

: 1. Drafting and vetting of various petitions, pleadings, writs, affidavits, counter affidavits, appeals, miscellaneous applications, affidavits, civil or criminal complaints etc. 2. Coordination with lawyers/ law firms on pan India basis for filing/ defending cases, getting updates on existing cases. 3. Strong knowledge of food laws, legal metrology act is a must for this role. 4. Preparing various reports as required from time to time including board reports. Knowledge of power point is a must. 5. Indepth knowledge of various laws related to intellectual property rights as the role requires day to day interaction with leading IP attorneys for discussing complex IPR issues. 6. Drafting and replying to various notices received from customers, statutory authorities, vendors etc. 7. Liaising with police, enforcement agencies, various government officials as and when required; 8. Preparation and updation of litigation MIS on weekly/ monthly basis 9. Supporting other functions of the Company by way of legal advice, interpretation of complex contractual or legal provisions etc. 10. Attending conferences/meetings and briefing senior lawyers/law firms and framing strategies/action plans for successful outcome of legal matters. 11. Should have working knowledge of SAP or should be willing to work on SAP
