This full time role will involve setting up models, performing various power system analyses and evaluating the impact of the studies performed to make recommendations. Perform load flow analysis including steady state, contingency, and short-circuit analysis Develop and Perform production cost modelling and transmission congestion analysis Research and keep the broader group updated on latest power market developments in prominent ISO/RTO markets that influence power price forecasts, electric transmission congestion and other factors that influence power price fundamentals. Perform advanced analysis of India\'s transmission system and markets and identify improvements to modeling approaches Developing prototype programs/applications using industry tools and programming languages such as Python/C++ Qualifications Master\'s degree in Power / Energy System with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering is required. Phd in Power / Energy System is preferred. At least 3 years of power flow modelling and/ or production cost modelling experience Proficiency in industry-standard power flow tools such as PSS/E Experience in production cost modelling using industry-standard models such as PROMOD, GridView or PLEXOS Programming knowledge in any of Python, C++ or Excel VBA Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and oral communications skills
