Description:Operationalxc2xb7 Assists in making sure that Employee Facilities are maintained to Hyatt International's high standards of operation.xc2xb7 Conducts interviews and co-ordinates recruitment activities in liaison with the respective Heads of Department.xc2xb7 Co-ordinates all visas and immigration activities when necessary and monitor the passports and immigration papers of foreign national employees.xc2xb7 Assists with the co-ordination and administration of employee Performance Development Discussions and succession planning.xc2xb7 Assists with the administration of employee benefits and salaries.xc2xb7 Assists with Annual Salary and Benefits Survey, Business Plans, Manning Guide.xc2xb7 Assists the Security Manager in locker and first aid box inspections.xc2xb7 Conducts Employee Restaurant Committee Meetings on a periodic basis.xc2xb7 Counsels employees in career prospects, personal issues, job related issues, grievance, discipline, etc.xc2xb7 Communicates with labour offices and labour-law specialists, and have a thorough understanding of the local labour law.xc2xb7 Responsible for all leave administration.xc2xb7 Assists the Training Manager with Orientation training on job related issues.Peoplexc2xb7 Ensures that all employees are treated fairly and consistently as outlined in their terms and conditions of employment, local legislation, and company/hotel policies and procedures.xc2xb7 Oversees the hotel's recruitment and selection process, providing Division and Department Heads with effective and efficient recruitment solutions.xc2xb7 Ensures a strong professional relationship with all levels of employees within the hotel, taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and development.xc2xb7 Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy in every department in the hotel.xc2xb7 Conducts Exit Interviews for all resigned employees and provide feedback to the Director of Human Resources.xc2xb7 Assists to oversee the punctuality and appearance of all Human Resources employees, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and departmentxe2x80x99s grooming standards.xc2xb7 Conducts annual Performance Development Discussions with the Human Resources Officer, supporting him / her in their professional development goals.xc2xb7 Develops the skills and effectiveness of all Human Resources employees through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.xc2xb7 Ensures that employees follow all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.xc2xb7 Feedback the results of the Employee Engage Survey and ensure that the relevant changes are implemented.Customer Servicexc2xb7 Supports the hotelxe2x80x99s focus on service excellence by training and assisting others to train people to provide exceptional service to the hotelxe2x80x99s external customers (guests).xc2xb7 Provides the appropriate level of professional, courteous and caring service to other employees (internal customers) and other visitors to the division.Financialxc2xb7 Helps to maintain efficient staffing levels and payroll systems, helping Division/Department Heads to maximise productivity and minimise unnecessary payroll costs.xc2xb7 Be conversant with productivity ratios (and other key performance indicators) and to produce the monthly turnover report, employee sick leave report, vacation reports.xc2xb7 Assists in researching competitive compensation/benefits/incentive packages.xc2xb7 Assists in the management of the Department's operational budget so that all costs are controlled and expenditures are properly approved.Marketingxc2xb7 Assists the Director of Human Resources with the compilation and implementation of all employee communications.xc2xb7 Ensures that all in-house rules and regulations are communicated to employees and implemented.xc2xb7 Monitors and prepares the Human Resources Calendar.Other dutiesxc2xb7 Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations.xc2xb7 Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the Hotelxe2x80x99s policies concerning fire, hygiene and health and safety.xc2xb7 Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.xc2xb7 Maintains strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations, including local schools, hotel schools and universities.xc2xb7 Responds to changes in the Human Resources function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.xc2xb7 Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.xc2xb7 Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:
