I. Planning, Execution and Supervision:
? Manages HR functions including performance management, compensation and benefits, talent management
and development, exit, statutory compliance, employee relations etc.
? Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed by employee as mentioned in the employee
handbook.
? Govern, monitor, update all inputs and outcomes of the company's internal HRMS software systems and
databases.
? Detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies by performing checks on attendance, leave details, shift allowance,
incentives, and full and final settlements on a monthly basis
? Effective handing of employee queries in relation to payroll related issues via email and in person.
? Monitoring internal job posting programs and ensuring their effectiveness
? Handling PF, ESIC, Medical Insurance, Gratuity, TN Shops & Establishments Act, Contract Labour Act, Maternity
Benefit Act and National Festival Holidays Act activities.
? Periodically maintenance of job descriptions by coordinating with department HOD's to know of any changes
in the duties and responsibilities for the current positions, and developing job descriptions for the new
established positions as per the reqiorement of the company
? Responsible for new employee orientation, grievance resolution, conflict mediation, discipline, policy
compliance, employee motivation, employee retention & employee development.
? Creation of tailor-made resource management plans to address business needs for different portfolio of
employees
? Business aligned HR solutions in matters such as people productivity & metrics computation.
? Counselling employees on career progression & individual development.
? Support in facilitating the performance evaluation process for all the staff members in the group of companies
? Support the staff in dealing with the performance issues of their subordinates by advicing the proper course of
action
? Maintain and upgrade the implemented strategic HR initiatives like employee grading system, talent
management and development, organization design, individual competency assessment and succession
planning
? Renewing and reviewing the current medical health insurance policy of the company and negotiating to get
the best deals to cover the company staff
? Conduct frequent audit for contractors to comply with the regulatory norms as per Contract Labour Act
? Assist the VP- HR in the disciplinary procedure if any
? Responsible to assist in the administration activities of the company which includes transportation,
housekeeping, security, maintenance etc.
? Submit HRIS reports to the HR head from time to time
II. Professional Development:
? Train and manage the team and supervise/coordinate all HR related activities
? Monitor and review Individual Development Plan of subordinates to ensure proper training of the staff is taken
place to improvise their knowledge and skills
? Contributing to the professional development of self and other team members in the department
? Attending conferences and other ongoing learning programs
III. Documentation:
? Maintain department records as per the quality and other accreditation requirements
