  • Investigate discrepancies and proactively liaise with different parties including (but not limited to) relevant operations teams, custodians, and counterparties.
  • Provide training for team members.
  • Ensure all Cash, Positions & Income is settled accurately and within stated deadlines.
  • Investigations into errors and discrepancies within section.
  • Ensure that all exception reports are reviewed and followed through to resolution.
  • Participate in user acceptance tests for new products and system.
  • Drive streamlining initiatives focusing both on efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Provide back up support for other peer groups within Regional Operations center.
  • Investigate discrepancies and proactively liaise with different parties including (but not limited to) relevant operations teams, custodians, and counterparties.
  • Reply and attend to enquiries/feedback for internal/external clients.
  • Perform team assigned work on time and effectively.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of prior Investment Operations or similar experience in Investment Banking or Private Banking operation
  • Working knowledge and awareness of Asset Servicing (Corporate Actions/Income processing) and/or any other Securities Ops function like Settlements
  • Knowledge or experience in fields like Money Market trade operations, Derivatives, Funds Processing, Cash management & Payments will be an added advantage
  • Good judgement and decision-making skill
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Considerable flexibility in working varying shifts to support UK/US/APAC business hours, when necessary
  • Is aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.
  • Understands, follows, and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
