Job Summary: The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of door-to-door waste collection services and contribute to expanding the business. The role requires a combination of operational management, customer service, and business development skills to ensure efficient service delivery and foster client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: - Supervise and coordinate daily door-to-door waste collection activities. - Ensure timely and efficient waste collection, adhering to health and safety standards. - Manage and optimize routes to maximize operational efficiency. - Monitor and maintain equipment and vehicle readiness. - Hire and build team including labourers for hinderance free operations Team Leadership: - Lead, train, and motivate the waste collection team. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback. - Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures. Stakeholder Management: - Address community inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely manner. - Educate stakeholders on waste segregation and recycling practices. - Conduct community outreach programs to raise awareness about waste management. Business Development: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base. - Develop and maintain relationships with residential, commercial, and municipal clients. - Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with potential clients. - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. Reporting and Analysis: - Maintain accurate records of operations, customer interactions, and financial transactions. - Generate regular reports on operational performance and business development activities. - Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in waste management, logistics, or a related sector. - Proven experience in team leadership and customer service. - Strong business acumen with a track record of successful business development. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in MS Office - Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and willingness to travel within the service area.
