The reinsurance Finance function in India primarily supports the quarterly closing and reporting process of the Reinsurance Business. There are different sub-processes performed by the Reinsurance Financial Reporting team in India which include but are not limited to the quarter-end Close Process, Reporting Process, Reconciliation Process, Planning Process, Business Analysis Process, etc. This position will be supporting the Regulatory Reporting, Statutory Reporting and Management Reporting activities for XL Re Europe business.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?\xc2\xb7 Responsible for Reinsurance Financial Reporting activities which will include Regulatory Reporting, Statutory Reporting and Management Reporting activities for the Reinsurance business.\xc2\xb7 Analysis and reporting for all line items related to Income Statement and Balance Sheet.\xc2\xb7 Assist in quarterly close & reporting process & adhere to time schedules.\xc2\xb7 Review of expense management, accrual, prepayment, recharge, and intercompany balances.\xc2\xb7 Assisting in various audits - Statutory and Internal Audit.\xc2\xb7 Support the management team on a regular basis for any ad-hoc request.\xc2\xb7 Maintain strong communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations.\xc2\xb7 Develops and maintains process documentation.You will report to the Manager.QualificationsSHARE your talentWere looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 CA with relevant years of experience in accounting and financial Reporting.\xc2\xb7 Good Accounting knowledge.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of IFRS is required.\xc2\xb7 Communication skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Desired Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 MS Office skills: Should have strong MS Excel skills.\xc2\xb7 Able to work and communicate effectively as part of a cross-geographic and cross-cultural team.\xc2\xb7 Good team player and ability to work independently.FIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
