Your candidacy is currently being considered for a requisition for an Alight Inc group company. As you may be aware, Alight has announced intent to divest its Payroll & Professional Services business to HIG Capital. After the transaction closes, this position will be aligned to the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital (Divested Group). By applying for this position which will be with the Divested Group company, you understand and agree to the information you submitted for your application with Alight being shared with the Divested Group company. In addition, if you are made an offer of employment, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with the Divested Group company employment policies.This role will be an integral part of a finance team dedicated to providing support to our growing operations. This role will actively manage the Country/ Entity Finance by producing and presenting insightful analysis that supports book closure and decision making. The successful candidate must have the flexibility to deal with a wide range of client services.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting/ Controllership Responsibilities

  • Perform Month end close accounting & reporting, variance analysis and preparation of supporting commentary
  • Preparing balance sheet recons and identification and management of any potential risks, Ownership of entity Balance Sheets,
  • Audit & Compliance - Supporting Entity Audit - Internal & Statutory audit support and completion. To support and ensure the smooth running and timely completion of Group audit, local statutory and Tax audits for entities by adhering to the timelines. Provide sufficient back ups to the auditor when requested.
  • Performing all the Project accounting related activities, time analysis and follow up, reporting, revenue recognition and accurately book the revenue in the system.
  • Support Identification of areas of risk, under-performance, improvement and opportunity and development of action plan to resolve
  • Ensure financial compliance with contracts
  • Involvement in Reporting requirements including Variance Reporting, Cash flow analysis, P&L and Balance sheet reviews
  • Monitor Debtors, creditors and accrued and deferred income
  • Supporting on-site business teams ( Accounts Executives, Accounts Directors, Finance Managers and Directors )
  • Identification of process improvements to support the management team and improve the delivery of information across the division
  • Ensure all control requirements are met with on a timely basis
Other Responsibilities
  • Resolving ad-hoc queries from onsite counterparts within and outside the division
  • Completion of all process related MIs and governance tools
  • Support / cover for other members of the finance team as required
Candidate ProfileEssential Skills
  • Candidates with ICWA/CA/CIMA/ACCA / qualification (Part/Completed) or MBA or Qualified by experience
  • Minimum of 6-9 years of experience.
  • Minimum 4 year experience within R2R function
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team, working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure completion of multiple activities within tight reporting deadlines
  • Excellent Excel skills are vital given the nature of the responsibilities
  • Strong on finance fundamentals
  • Experience in Transition and US accounting is desirable.
