Overall Utility / Energy Management across utility & plant premises, conduct energy audits/diagnostics to ensure effective utilization of energy resources in accordance with PepsiCo Performance with Purpose agenda and to achieve the best operating efficiencies.
Track, monitor and provide monthly performance updates related to power & energy (VMOH) to management.
Track and Upload Sustainability energy data to MYEHS Site on monthly basis.
Provide technical/engineering support for Utilities, Facilities, Electrical and automation & control requirements.
Conduct Techno-commercial evaluation and review of all Utilities and Facility up-gradation Projects to ensure that the most efficient and reliable technologies, in accordance with the best Engineering practices are adopted at optimal cost, in line with the Facility master Plans.
Coordination of all facility and utility related Capital projects.
Support Plant Food Safety program by assisting closure of infrastructure related observation.
Support EHS for timely closure of safety committee observations.
Support for Plant agenda for Water Conservation & Deolite Rainwater Harvesting study Program.
Responsibilities:Budgetary controls & People Relationships
Utility management by Achieving energy reduction and cost savings as per Utility/energy strategies.
Utility Downtime Management & Control.
Conducting energy audits/diagnostics identify energy saving initiatives/projects; implement the same to achieve target energy reductions and financial benefits.
Operation & Monitoring of Green Energy project (CDM projects) like Solar, Biomethane, Water Minimization project to ensure that the benefits are obtained for PepsiCo sustainability agenda with active participation in the site ReCon (Resource Conservation) Maturity Model program.
Conduct maintenance/engineering audits/diagnostics across the Utilities to ensure best maintenance practices are followed at optimal cost and manpower with adherence to PeMM (PepsiCo Excellence Maintenance Methodology).
Project Appraisal and recommendation of Utilities/Energy/Facility related Capital Investment proposals.
Interaction with the utility/energy management teams of PepsiCo foods plants for effective management of utilities.
Technical
Support Engineering manager to Review and Implement capital investment proposals of facility, utility and energy conservation projects to ensure compliance with good engineering practices, regulatory requirements PepsiCo engineering & quality/EHS requirements.
22KV HT electrical system periodic maintenance as per regulatory& statutory norms
Engineering support for utilities (Water systems, Fire detection and protection systems, HVAC, Steam generation and distribution, Captive power generation, ETP, Electrical receiving & distribution, Instrumentation & Control, Fuel storage and handling, chemical storage and handling, Building Management systems etc.)
To participate in Process risk assessments, HAZOP studies, area classification exercise and ensure design/implementation based on such exercises.
Overall coordination for Fixed Asset Verification & Management
Conduct energy, engineering & maintenance audits across the site to ensure facility compliance, energy efficiency, maintenance efficiency and to track and ensure completion of all action plans.
To Provide Engineering Support to Food Safety compliances.
To provide support to Coordinate Energy management.
Project Management
Support Engineering manager for Project execution.
Creation of new material code in the SAP and Ariba system as per the standard format.
Cataloguing and periodic renewal of spares catalogue in Ariba for procurement.
Generating Purchase Requisition (PR/PO), and advance payment in Ariba system for material and service procurement.
Provide support for preparation of VMOH Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Review & finalize Utility and Asset management budgets.
To Control Repair & Maintenance expenses and operate within the AOP.
Provide support in Engineering Contractor management and their Agreements.
Regulatory compliances.
Ensure Utility & Asset management across the plant complies with all required statutory requirements.
To ensure designs developed meet the Regulatory requirements e.g. Inspectorate of Factories, MIDC, State Electricity Board, Fire safety, Electrical Inspection, Chief Control of Explosives, Weights & Measure, Pollution Control Board etc.
Drive applicable EHS role & responsibilities, create awareness at shop floor team for timely support and execution, GEHSMS standards and its compliances
Qualifications:
Education: B. E (Electrical)
Desirable: Knowledge of Electrical setup, plant utilities, TPM, Manufacturing activities.
Functional Experience: Approx. 6-8 years of experience in Food / Pharma industry in maintenance function, experience of managing developmental projects in a plant scenario.
