Job Description

Summary:

Handling shift safety & maintenance activities independently. Lead the maintenance team. Issue the work permit, attend the electrical & instrumentation, pneumatic system breakdown calls, take active participation on preventive & Predictive Maintenance. Preparation of Critical equipment list, Critical spare list, Activity Wise Risk Assessment, equipment checklist, Root Cause Analysis, Equipment History Record, etc. Participate at meetings, Training, 5S, collaboration with teammates, documentation, automation, Project work and other jobs asinine by the HOD.


Responsibilities:

• Make daily planning & maintenance work scheduling.
• Ensure spare parts availability before execution of the jobs.
• Responding to the emergency breakdowns.
• Complete tasks assigned on the basis of priority.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment & plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair spare parts, testing to be done before fitting it & adjustment to be done if required.
• Follow established safety rules & regulations.
• Responsible for fulfilling the maintenance KPI fully.
• Comply with the instructions given in all the SOPs & protocol.
• Maintain a clean & orderly work area by ensuring that floors are clean & organised appropriately.
• Contribute ideas to continuous improvement.
• Working experience in LV & HV power distribution lines & equipment.
• Study and preparation of electrical drawing as per process and logic.
• Working experience in PLC control panels, VFD control panels, MCC & PCC panels, etc. Modification, development of PLC programing logic, SCADA and communication.
• Working experience in different types of sensor, proximity sensor, limit switch, RTD, pressure switch, signal converter, etc.
• Working experience in heating control systems, temperature controllers, PID controllers, etc.
• Working experience in weighing systems, load cells, load controllers, flowmeter, MFMeter, etc.
• Working experience in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Essential/Mandatory:


Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation with a minimum working experience of 5 Yrs in the above mentioned field. Candidates should have good knowledge in Instrumentation, Power, Processes, Utility equipment.

Ability to make decisions.


Computer literate in MS office/ G Suit.
