About Emerging Business:
In line with the Government's increased focus on Renewable Energy sector, KEC has made a move to carve out its presence in the Wind energy and Green Hydrogen sector. We are already providing Solar EPC services for large solar PV projects developed by private players and roof-top PV solutions for Industrial and Commercial consumers. Further, we are empaneled with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) under their Solar On-grid programme contributing to the National roof-top mission. We have grown to be among the few companies with the capabilities to execute large scale projects of over 100 MW, with significant experience in Single Axis Tracker implementation. JOB DUTIES



•Job Summary: •Seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer for Solar Design with expertise in inverter technology, PVsyst simulations, and grid compliance. Proficient in AutoCAD, PV Syst software, and detailed BOQ preparation.



Key Accountabilities

Duty Statements



• Inverter and Module Selection:
• Evaluate and compare inverter and module technologies for optimal solar power plant design.
• Inverter Sizing and Configuration:
• Size string and central inverters, design string configurations, and determine block sizing for efficient solar plant operation.
• PVsyst Simulation and Energy Yield Estimation:
• Conduct thorough PVsyst simulations, iterating for accurate energy yield estimations.
• Grid Compliance and Impact Analysis:
• Ensure compliance with grid requirements for ground-mounted solar plants.
• Analyze grid impact on PV plant inverters and other electrical equipment/systems.
• Layout Design and Routing:
• Prepare and analyze Array ICR and MCR layouts, DC, AC, MV cable routing using AutoCAD.
• Sizing Calculations and Technical Documentation:
• Perform sizing calculations for earthing, lightning protection, illumination, battery, UPS, switchgears, etc.
• Prepare comprehensive solar plant BOQ and technical specifications for all electrical equipment.
• Single Line Diagrams:
• Develop DC, AC, and Protection Single Line Diagrams to guide the electrical aspects of the solar power project.
• Site Visits and Coordination:

Conduct site visits, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams



JOB SPECIFICATIONS:



•Years of Experience : 5-8+ Years+•

•Qualification: •

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical design for solar power plants.
• Strong knowledge of inverter and module technologies, grid compliance, and electrical system design.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills for PVsyst simulations and energy yield estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and latest version of PV Syst software.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities for interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Minimum of 5 Years' of experience in electrical engineering for solar power projects.
