Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Data Governance Specialist

In this role as Data Governance Specialist, he/she would own the workstream, responsible for the delivery of all deliverables and client communications.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including data stewards, IT professionals, and business leaders; ability to communicate project progress and results with stakeholders.
  • Ability to design and develop complex data governance processes and policies, ability to identify and analyse data governance gaps and opportunities, ability to develop and implement data governance improvement plans.
  • Understanding of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s data landscape and data management systems, the organization\'s business goals and objectives to identify and assess data governance risks, to develop and implement data governance solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  • Additional credit for hands-on technical skills in SQL, Python, etc.
Experience working as a member in a team of business analysts and demonstrate the ability to execute assignments independently; demonstrable ability to plan, execute, monitor data governance projects and to manage resources and deadlines.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields business administration Bachelors in Comp. Sci., Information Systems, Pharmacy
  • Experience in data gov/mgmt. or related field (highly preferred)
  • Lower years of experience for MSc. / MTech. / MPharma. / MBA / related Master\xe2\x80\x99s
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Demonstrated experience in pharma / life sciences (preferred) or healthcare (at least) in the data areas of real-world, clinical trial, patient or HCP/HCO data, sales & marketing data, financial or product data.
  • Knowledge of patient master data concepts and principles (preferred in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or clinical data management systems)
  • Experience with data governance and management best practices, implementing data policies; troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues, and conducting data audits, or managing data access and permissions for data masters, or with data modeling, data security, data privacy, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing, working with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to improve customer targeting and marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency with data profiling, data cleansing, data matching and/or other related data governance / management tools (like Informatica Data Quality Explorer, Talend Open Studio, Alteryx Designer, DataCleaner, Dataiku DSS, RapidMiner, IBM InfoSphere).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to develop and deliver clear and concise documentation with demonstrable experience drafting technical documentation; strong skills drafting SOPs, work instructions, etc.
