At the same time, we are growing fast and have exciting, ambitious aspirations.About the roleAs an Export Business Development Assistant Manager, you will expand our global market share by developing new and existing customer accounts. You\'ll maximize sales revenue through country distributors and direct customer engagement, involving significant international travel.Key Responsibilities

• Team management and sales strategy:

• Handling a team of Assistant Managers and Executives in Business Development, and IS for International Business Sales
• Devising sales strategies and execution plans to improve top-line performance
• Driving the sales team to source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails, and networking
• Market and distribution management:

• Handling sales in all assigned markets, ensuring range selling to the current DB, and finding new DB for new markets
• Ensuring country entry and distribution expansion in emerging markets
• Formulating trade marketing schemes for all countries.
• Ensuring penetration in key accounts (mainstream).
• Sales processes and automation:

• Driving strong sales processes and automation across markets
• Monitoring and controlling distributor stocks, secondary sales, and stock replacement to ensure a high fill rate at primary stocking points
• Target achievement and reporting:

• Achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales/forecast targets and reporting country-wise
• Driving gross margin and net margin as per target and alignment with the budget
• Ensuring manpower productivity and utilisation of country budgets
• Trade exhibitions and compliance:

• Driving international trade exhibitions outside the country and travelling as needed
• Planning and completing the registration of the company\xe2\x80\x99s products with relevant authorities like Municipality/FDA
• Ensuring compliance with the company\xe2\x80\x99s trading policies, payments/banking/LC protocols, and specific currency processes in tandem with the finance function
• Health and safety:

• Adhering to local and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies
• Monitoring and reporting:

• Monitoring, recording, analysing, and reporting on export activities, trends, results, and recommendations
• Maintaining a dynamic MIS and tight control over distributor stocks, ensuring 100% adherence to systems and processes
• Administrative and cost management:

• Assisting relevant teams to prepare and submit timely and accurate administration, such as shipping schedules, letters of credit, ECGC documents, credit control mechanisms, licenses, declarations, packing, routing, transport, and safety documentation
• Planning and executing cost reduction in freight, insurance, and forwarding costs
