Job Title: Assistant General Manager (Sales)
Location: Jaipur (Frequent travel to working areas required)
Department: Sales & Business DevelopmentKey Responsibilities: * Strategic Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with the company's objectives for organic fertilizers and botanical pesticides.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new markets, customers, and partnerships.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets across all working areas.
  • Market Outreach & Client Engagement:
  • Travel frequently to working areas to connect with distributors, retailers, and end-users (farmers).
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to highlight the benefits of Terra Agro Biotech's products.
  • Act as the face of the company in key markets, fostering trust and long-term relationships with clients.
  • Team Management & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of regional sales teams.
  • Provide training and guidance to enhance team productivity and product knowledge.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor and support team activities.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting:
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and strategies.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, highlighting performance, challenges, and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to adjust strategies based on market insights.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, compliance requirements, and ethical practices.
  • Optimize sales processes and streamline operations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s or Masterxe2x80x99s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the agricultural inputs industry.
  • Strong understanding of organic fertilizers, botanical pesticides, and sustainable farming solutions.
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and advanced MS Office skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse agricultural markets.
