Role: Project Manager
Location: Multiple Locations (Pune, Ahmedabad, Noida, Gandhinagar, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Indore, Mumbai, Udaipur)
Head Office: Ahmedabad
Onboarding Location: Ahmedabad (2 weeks post-selection)

Overview:

DevX is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead large-scale corporate interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing commercial fit-out projects, especially for corporate office spaces, and demonstrate excellent leadership and project management skills. This is a senior role that requires overseeing multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The AGM will be responsible for all phases of project management, from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with client needs, company goals, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be able to work across multiple locations, with Ahmedabad being the primary office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership & Strategy

Lead and oversee multiple commercial interior fit-out projects for corporate office spaces. Ensure timely delivery, cost control, and quality standards are maintained across all projects.

• Project Planning & Execution

Review and manage project plans, blueprints, and specifications. Work closely with clients to ensure feasibility and alignment with their requirements. Oversee resource allocation, project milestones, and timelines.

• Client Relationship Management

Serve as the main point of contact for senior clients. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring that their expectations are exceeded and their satisfaction remains a priority throughout the project lifecycle.

• Financial & Budget Management

Take responsibility for the financial management of projects, including budget creation, monitoring, forecasting, and adherence to financial goals. Ensure projects remain within scope, timeline, and budgetary constraints.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead, mentor, and collaborate with project teams to ensure high performance and teamwork. Encourage innovation, problem-solving, and efficient project execution across all phases of the fit-out process.

• Risk Management & Compliance

Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, local building codes, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth project execution.

• Sub-Contractor & Vendor Management

Manage relationships with sub-contractors and vendors. Oversee the quality and timely execution of their work, ensuring contract compliance and alignment with project objectives.

• Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, meeting minutes, and financial reports. Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project progress, financial performance, and any issues that may arise.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Educational Qualifications:

B.E. in Civil Engineering or equivalent. PMP certification is preferred.

• Work Experience:

12-15 years of experience in commercial interior fit-out project management, particularly in corporate office spaces. Proven track record of leading complex projects, managing client relationships, and delivering successful outcomes.

• Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of commercial construction and interior fit-out processes.

• Leadership Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

• Client Management:

Strong client-facing experience with a client-centric approach. Ability to manage senior-level relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

• Financial Acumen:

Solid experience in managing project budgets, financial forecasting, and reporting. Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing corporate office and commercial fit-out projects . The CV should reflect specific projects that demonstrate leadership and successful project completion in these areas.
• Experience in multi-location projects will be an added advantage, as the position requires working across various locations.
• Flexibility to travel to Ahmedabad for a two-week onboarding process after selection.
