• Research and Inspiration:
• Conduct trend research to identify new styles, fabrics, and colors.
• Create mood boards and inspiration books.
• Design Development:
• Assist in sketching and illustrating designs.
• Help in developing and refining garment patterns.
• Work on creating technical drawings and specifications.
• Fabric and Material Selection:
• Source fabrics, trims, and other materials.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Sample Production:
• Coordinate the creation of sample garments.
• Oversee fittings and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the lead designer, production team, and other departments.
• Communicate design ideas and updates effectively.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Organize and maintain design archives and fabric libraries.
• Handle paperwork and documentation related to the design process.
• Market Analysis:
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Analyze consumer preferences and feedback.
• Fashion Shows and Presentations:
• Assist in preparing for fashion shows, photo shoots, and presentations.
• Help with styling and coordinating looks.
• Software Proficiency:
• Use design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure the final products meet the brand's quality standards.
• Check for consistency in design and production.

Job Type: Full-time
