They maintain all building systems at peak operational efficiency and performance, enforce safety regulations, comply with all regulatory standards, and assess the need for maintenance or repairs.Brief for a Regional Technical Manager:Oversee the operations and maintenance across all properties within the assigned region. Manage engineering teams across those properties, guide their activities, and ensure optimal performance. Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs, inspect facilities, and schedule repairs. Ensure that all building systems and operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Implement cost-saving measures related to maintenance, repairs, and utilities usage. Coordinate with property and facility managers to provide them with engineering support. Develop and manage emergency procedure protocols and oversee safety compliance. Implement energy efficiency and sustainability strategies. Prepare budgets for maintenance and operation of facilities. Provide technical oversight on projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to company standards. Foster relationships with contractors, vendors, and other external partners. Stay updated on the latest engineering technologies and implement new practices and equipment to increase operational efficiency.Educational requirements generally include a degree in Engineering or a related field. Relevant professional experience, particularly in facilities management or building maintenance, is crucial. This role may also require specific certifications, such as a Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
