ASSISTANT - EVENTS & MEMBERSHIP, MUMBAI The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) is a not-for-profit bilateral business Chamber that fosters and promotes mutually beneficial relations between India and France through channels of trade and industry. It is one of India\'s most active bilateral chambers of commerce. Responsibilities: Planning and Executing Events : Ensure a momentum of regular events (business, social networking, workshops) Ensure full event coordination from identifying speakers, sponsors, logistics to post event follow-up. Keep a tab on the business climate and constantly identify interesting trends, topics Show curiosity and genuine interest in business across Industries and consistently build knowledge Prepare marketing emails and creatives on Canva Plan, organise and liaise all logistical aspects for events in the western chapter Target potential sponsors for events - maintain good relationships with sponsors and members Handle and manage online Webinar Tools Prepare and manage a profitable budget sheet to generate revenue for events in the western chapter Follow ups - for participation, invoices pending payments etc. Call members/companies to ensure good turnout at events Coordinate communications for the events in the western region with the comms team (Pre, During and Post Event) Prepare minutes of the meeting and update information on the website regularly Liaise with the Communication team for timely update of all SM posts Managing Membership : Membership Renewals - follow ups with companies for membership renewals, invoicing and pending payments Follow up with new membership leads for conversion Accounts & Admin Ensure timely preparation of invoices and receipts Issue vendor payments and coordination for signatures from signatories within deadline Data entry into CRM and excel for updating lists for events and admin and data base Skills and Experience required: - Graduate / post-graduate in Marketing/International Business. - Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in customer service management and events. - Excellent PR and communication skills. - Excellent organisation skills. - Team spirit. -Autonomous. - Attention to detail. - Excellent written and spoken English. French is an advantage but not mandatory. - Previous industry association experience is an advantage.
