Assistant - Events & Membership (French Speaking) The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) is a not-for-profit bilateral business Chamber that fosters and promotes mutually beneficial business relations between India and France. It has five offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad and represents a large network on 650 member companies. It is currently the most active bilateral chamber of commerce in the country. For more: www.ifcci.org.in IFCCI is looking to hire an Assistant - Events & Membership which is a key department at the Chamber. Position- Full time Location- Chennai Open to: Indian nationals (Basic French speaking) The Assistant Events & Membership will report to the Events & Membership Manager in Chennai. His/Her key job responsibilities will include: Events Coordination and Organisation Events -Target, plan, coordinate and organise events in Chennai Make marketing emails and creatives (basic training for designing tool will be provided) Make and control a profitable budget sheet Plan, organise and operate the logistics for all the events in southern chapter Handle the online Webinar Tools (Basic training will be provided by IFCCI) Target potential sponsors for events - maintain good relationship with sponsors and members Generate revenue for the events in southern chapter Follow ups - for participation, invoices pending payments etc. Call clients to ensure generation of good turnout at events 360 degree vendor management Coordinate communication with the communication department (Pre, During and Post Event) Making minutes of the meeting and updating on the website In Sync with Communication team for timely update of all social media posts Create databases of contacts for IFCCI events (participation, potential speakers, chief guests, etc..) Drive activities of the IFCCI Mobility Committee in coordination with the Pan India Committee head Memberships Membership Renewals - Follow ups with clients for Membership Renewals, invoicing and pending payments Follow up for existing and new membership leads through committees & events and coordinate with the membership team Drive new membership campaigns Drive membership care campaign with Chennai based members Create databases of contacts for membership leads and populate information of IFCCI\'s CRM Constantly update the IFCCI CRM with new information gathered on IFCCI\'s members, onto CRM Skills and Experience : Excellent presentation skills Prior experience of interactions with corporates Clear oral and written communication skills Team spirit Attention to details Profile Requirement: - Graduate / post-graduate in Marketing/International Business. - Excellent written and spoken English. - Basic written and spoken French. - Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in customer service management and client acquisition. - Excellent PR and communication skills. - Excellent organisation skills. - Managerial skills and experience. - Team spirit. - Autonomous. - Attention to detail. - Previous industry association experience is an advantage.
