Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and enthusiastic Assistant Event Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and management of events. This role involves working closely with the event team to ensure every event is executed smoothly, meeting client expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Event Planning & Coordination
• Assist in planning events from concept to completion, including meetings, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions.
• Help with scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates throughout the planning process.
2. On-Site Support
• Provide hands-on support during events, including setup, coordination, and teardown.
• Assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise during the event to ensure a seamless experience.
• Oversee logistics such as guest check-ins, seating arrangements, and vendor deliveries.
3. Vendor & Supplier Liaison
• Communicate with vendors to confirm bookings, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure all vendor services are delivered on time and according to agreed terms.
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts when needed.
4. Administrative Tasks
• Prepare and maintain event documents, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage RSVPs, guest lists, and seating arrangements.
• Handle event-related inquiries via email, phone, or in-person meetings.
5. Marketing & Promotion (if applicable)
• Assist in promoting events through social media, email campaigns, or flyers.
• Help design promotional materials or work with the marketing team to ensure effective communication.
6. Post-Event Activities
• Collect feedback from clients and attendees to evaluate event success.
• Compile post-event reports and assist in making recommendations for future improvements.
• Ensure all invoices and payments are processed and recorded accurately.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience:
• Prior experience in event coordination, hospitality, or administrative support is advantageous.
• Skills:
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software (if applicable).
• Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
