Job Description

Responsible to achieve production target as per shift schedule, rejections and quality produced. This position is also responsible to focus on continuous improvement activities for the section like 5S, Kaizen etc on a regular basis for the respective machine or cell. Monitor the rejection quantity which he is operate. Take inputs from Shift in-charge to get update on customer requirements, discuss any customer related issues with Shift In-charge and support him for take countermeasure. Knowledge regarding Aluminum melting, casting heat treatment process. Able to find the defects Identify implement initiatives/action steps to enhance overall equipment die casting utilization efficiency including rework issues, die life monitoring for cost saving Identify implement action steps to reduce losses and wastages during shift operation and ensure minimum rejection of components Responsibility for running of die maintenance and analysis of die conditions Prepare daily and monthly production MIS reports to match actual performance vis--vis the targets and report the same to Production In-charge Responsibility to ensure adherence to Safety standards by all employees in the shift Responsibility for Final inspection quality related to casting. Responsibility for checking quality of special processes related to product and mold. Ensure timely completion of all stages of Performance Appraisal Process Ensure satisfactory worker relations in the section through fair and equitable administration Provide on the job training to the workers so that the work performance and the skill level improves Handle issues related to workers performance, safety, grievances etc in consultation with Production In-charge Desired Qualifications, Experience Competencies Desired QualificationsProfessional in ITI/Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgy Desired Experience : Diploma 2-4 years of experience Knowledge SkillsKnowledge about the product process Knowledge about kaizen,5S etc Supervisory and manpower handling Skills Competencies2 wheeler in GDC 4W in LPDC background will be preferred.
