Role and Responsibilities: To prepare plot plan and equipment general arrangement drawings. To prepare PFD and P&IDs. To prepare piping layouts, detailed piping fabrication (2D drawings) and isometrics drawings with bill of materials. To prepare fabrication drawings for storage tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other process equipment with bill of materials. To prepare fabrication drawings for bulk material handling equipment like storage silo/bin, hoppers, belt conveyor, screw conveyor etc. with bill of materials. To prepare general arrangement and detailed fabrication drawings for steel structure/ building, pipe rack, go downs, conveyor galleries, cooling towers, etc. Qualifications and Education Requirements : First class Diploma In Mechanical Engineering. Work Experience: A candidate should have 5 - 7 years experience in a reputed design office of a large Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery complex. This experience shall cover detailing for plot plan, equipment GA, structure, piping, etc. Proficiency in usage of AutoCAD and MS Office is essential. Sound knowledge of all relevant national & international codes & standards of ptactice and good engineering practices is must. Exposure to 3D Modeling softwares would be preferred. Other skills: Candidate should have positive attitude, proactive approach and good interpersonal skills.
