Hotel Rainbird is seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Chef/Cook specializing in Indian, Chinese, and Tandoori cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of taste and flavor, along with the ability to prepare good-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian, Chinese, and Tandoori dishes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet our hotel standards.
• Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in inventory management and ingredient selection.
Requirements:
• Proven experience of 1 year or more in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
• Proficiency in Indian, Chinese, and Tandoori cuisine.
• Good knowledge of spices, flavors, and seasonings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
