Role description:

Arcadis are involved in some of the most complex and diverse projects in North America that are technically demanding and offer considerable potential for learning and development. We are currently seeking a Assistant Consultant - GIS to join our Environment division in our GEC office.

Role accountabilities:

• Relevant professional experience working in an ArcGIS environment related to GIS Mapping (Topological Correction, Data Join), Spatial Analysis, Geo-referencing, Layout View as well as various geographic data formats and standard data conversion and transformation methods.
• Prior experience in projects like 2D Mapping, Cartography, Utility Conversion, Parcel Mapping, Conversion from CAD to GIS. Create GIS Maps, Reports, and presentations in support of various GIS and technology projects.
• Knowledge of ESRI GIS core products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap 10.x, ArcCatalog, Arc Toolbox) and preferably experience with ArcGIS Online, WebApp Builder, Esri Dashboard, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and Esri Extensions.
• Prepare and execute workflows and geoprocessing models using ArcGIS Model Builder
• In-depth understanding and practical experience associated with the concepts of data management and relational database systems.
• Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work for extended hours as needed to complete project deliverables.
• Analyze and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Ability to understand technology trends/concepts and solve problems through a proactive and innovative approach.
• Ability to handle fast paced work environment on a variety of projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in Geography/Geology/GIS/Engineering or related degree with an emphasis in GIS (or GIS Certificate/Diploma/Degree)
• 4-8 years of relevant professional experience working in an ArcGIS environment related to GIS Mapping (Topological Correction, Data Join), Spatial Analysis, Geo-referencing, Layout View.
