Job Summary: We are looking for a Civil Engineer with over 5 years of experience in office fit-out and data center projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably with experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC). This position requires a professional who is adept at stakeholder management and schedule management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager in overseeing all aspects of the project.
• Ensure that the project is executed in accordance with design specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and other project team members to ensure effective communication and project progress.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Manage procurement and logistics for materials and services.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Monitor and control project scope, timeline, and cost baseline.
• Ensure all approvals are obtained before execution.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and organize weekly meetings with stakeholders.
• Consult on technical issues and manage the GC to complete tasks/projects.
• Validate scope, check Installation QA/QC, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Compile weekly Site Observation Reports (SOR) and monitor closure.
• Lead and coordinate the Testing & Commissioning (T&C) process.
• Coordinate handover documents and manage training sessions if required.
• Manage demobilization activities, ensuring all housekeeping and repair works are completed for formal handover.
• Ensure all project permits are closed and all project documentation is submitted.
• Advise on GC invoices, verify claims, and coordinate the Integrated Testing & Commissioning (ITC) date.
• Complete project close-out forms, documenting lessons learned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in office fit-out and data Centre projects.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably with Project Management Consultancy (PMC).
• Strong knowledge of stakeholder management and schedule management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication Skills.
