Summary: We are seeking a skilled Culinary Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, supporting the Head Chef in daily operations, and ensuring efficient preparation and mise en place.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist the Head Chef in preparing ingredients, sauces, and other food items as per recipes and menu requirements.
• Execute mise en place to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications set by the establishment.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a cooperative and efficient working environment.
• Contribute to menu planning and development under the guidance of the Head Chef.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
• Freshers are welcomed
• Culinary degree, diploma, or equivalent certification.
• Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high culinary standards.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
