The Asset Strategy & Strategic Partnerships function (where this role is anchored) aim to achieve the right asset intensity to enable our growth and make sure we deliver quality customer outcomes regardless of asset ownership. Categories Covered: Storage solutions, Packing solutions and Pallets Responsibilities: Identify, qualify, and establish the global and regional storage and packing solutions partners in consultation with key internal stakeholders. Responsible for global investments projects from following categories: Manual Storage and packing Equipment (all Maersk sites- Warehouses, Cold Chain and Depots) Packing solutions and pallets Support in executing storage solutions procurement strategies for warehousing sites. Ensuring that global partners are roped in for deploying Storage and packing at all locations meeting site go live dates and budgets. Support negotiations for new site investments in compliance with procurement guidelines Keeping abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and supplier capabilities to make informed decisions during the procurement process. Support Development of supplier account plans and strategies for key suppliers. Collaborating with internal functions such as commercial, solution designs and engineering teams to understand the project requirements on specifications, customer requirements and deployment timelines and ensure the timely tendering of goods and services. Building effective relationships internally and externally with strategic suppliers as appropriate to ensure the best results are achieved for the business. Supporting the global storage solutions procurement category strategies as guided by Head of Storage solutions Ability to bring market insights and regional dynamics into improving and incorporating flexibility in category strategies. Ability to follow \'Go to market\' strategies/ tool kit or standard tender package with investment projects requiring MHE solutions Support and partner on key MHE Investment projects - Source to Contract in collaboration with stakeholders Supporting in building investment pipeline for storage solutions deployment across markets globally Use data points, data analysis to drive data driven decision making for all MHE decisions Building standard catalogues for storage solutions with our suppliers. What you bring: First and Foremost- You are passionate about Logistics and warehousing business and have demonstrated significant impact in your organizations. Preferably 4 - 6 years experience from roles within warehouse manual and automated storage solutions Category Management, Sourcing and Procurement OR from within technical sales You have some understanding of how the Storage solutions and Intralogistics companies operate in various markets and a good grasp of dealer network and how to deal with local dynamics by leveraging global relationships. Through your strong interpersonal skills and experiences, you find it easy to build relationships on all levels, both internally and externally You do not shy away from making decisions and providing your recommendation, and you can handle complex stakeholder matrix. A personality and an approach that supports being the subject matter expert on storage solutions to our key stakeholders Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work with people from different backgrounds. Strong negotiation skills. Comfortable with international travel up to approximately 25% per annum
