Core Purpose of the Role: Assistant - Banking operations.Role Accountabilities * Import payments-A1 & A2: Processing of import material and import service payments.

• Issue of LC, COLLECTION BILLS, BG & Bank release order / GR Waiver.
• Processing of both domestic and overseas advance payments.
• Domestic Cheque payments
• Petty cash: Handle petty cash books and preparation of monthly cash certificate.
• Postings of all settlement entries and bank charges/GST entries in SAP.
• Compliance -of IDPMS and EDPMS (Import and Export Data Processing and Monitoring System) and ORM (Outward remittances) clearance on a regular basis.
• Preparation of GAP report of processed batch and identify if any payment rejection/returns.
• Co-ordinate with banks and internal stakeholders for any query related to outward remittances.
• Work with internal/external auditors and resolve on any audit query.
• Knowledge of host-to-host set-ups for payment processes will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP is mandatory.

Specific requirements for this role

• Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated Capability: Accounting, Compliance and Data Analytics and Reporting, Process Automation.
• Education: B.com/M.com/MBA
