Accounts Receivable/Payable Management: Handle invoices, billings, and payments for vendors, customers, and contractors. Ensure timely collection of receivables and processing of payables.
GST Compliance: Knowledge and adherence to Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations relevant to the manufacturing sector. Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within deadlines.
TDS Compliance: Handle Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) procedures specific to manufacturing transactions. Deduct TDS as per applicable rates and ensure timely deposit and filing of TDS returns.
Inventory Management Support: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods. Reconcile physical inventory with book records periodically.
Tally Software Proficiency: Utilize Tally accounting software proficiently for recording transactions, generating reports, and reconciling accounts specific to manufacturing activities.
Financial Reporting Assistance: Support in the preparation of financial statements and reports tailored to the manufacturing industry, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting Support: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and report variances.
Audit Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external auditors during periodic audits. Provide necessary documentation and explanations related to manufacturing financial activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting within the manufacturing sector, preferably in PEB or related industries.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS regulations, and compliance applicable to manufacturing operations.
Proficiency in Tally accounting software, with experience in configuring and using modules specific to manufacturing.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and tools relevant to manufacturing accounting.
