Key Responsibilities:
  • Record Keeping and Data Entry:
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by posting and verifying financial data.
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records detailing financial business transactions.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Help with the preparation of internal and external reports.
  • Reconciliation:
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and payments.
  • Payroll Support:
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll data.
  • Audit Support:
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Prepare audit schedules and gather necessary documentation.
  • Compliance and Procedures:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls.
  • General Administration:
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting department.
  • Handle correspondence and communication with vendors and clients.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
