Position - Component Assembly Line Shift In-charge

Experience :

o Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly line environment.

o Previous supervisory or team lead experience Preferred

Qualifications : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Location - Chakan, Pune

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision and Management:

o Oversee and manage the assembly line operations during the assigned shift.

o Ensure that production schedules are met and that products meet quality standards, Yield monitoring,

o Supervise, train, and evaluate assembly line workers.

2. Production Monitoring:

o Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards.

o Address and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the production line.

o Implement process improvements to enhance productivity.

3. Quality Control:

o Ensure that all components assembled meet quality specifications.

o Conduct regular quality checks and audits.

o Work with the team to identify and rectify quality issues.

4. Safety and Compliance:o Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

o Conduct safety briefings and training sessions.

o Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

5. Reporting:

o Prepare and maintain shift reports, including production data, downtime, and quality metrics.

o Communicate shift performance and issues to the Production/Plant Manager.

6. Inventory and Equipment Management:

o Monitor inventory levels of components and raw materials.

o FIFO Adherence while consuming and dispatch the parts to OEM

o Ensure proper maintenance and operation of assembly line equipment.

o Coordinate with the maintenance team for any equipment repairs or maintenance.

Skills :

o Strong leadership and team management skills.

o Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.o Good communication and interpersonal skills.o Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control standards.

o Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Physical Requirements: o Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. o Capability to lift and move materials as needed.

Work Environment:

The role requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.

Additional Information: Shift work may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Additional time may be required to meet production targets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year
