Position : Security Guards - 12 & ASOs-2

Location : Mogappair

Job Summary :
The Security will maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to security incidents promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities :

• Access Control : Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Patrols : Conduct regular patrols of the premises, inspecting buildings, gates, and fence lines to identify and report any security risks, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
• Surveillance : Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and security breaches.
• Incident Response : Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, including theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other emergencies.
• Emergency Management : Assist in evacuation processes during emergencies, ensuring the safety of all employees and visitors.
• Report Writing : Document incidents, suspicious activities, and security breaches in a detailed report, submitting it to the supervisor as required.
• Customer Service : Provide directions and information to visitors while maintaining a polite and professional demeanor.
• Property Protection : Prevent damage and loss to company assets by reporting any unsafe conditions and preventing unauthorized removal of items.
• Compliance : Adhere to all security protocols, company policies, and local regulations.

Qualifications :

• Experience : Prior experience as a security guard / ASO or in a related role is preferred.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licenses/Certifications : Security guard license/certification may be required depending on local regulations.
• Skills :
• Good observational and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of security equipment, such as CCTV and alarm systems
• Physical Requirements : Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and respond quickly to emergencies.
