This role involves managing security operations, incident response, threat intelligence, and continuous improvement of security measures to safeguard the company's digital assets.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the ASOC team, including hiring, training, and performance management of security analysts and engineersDevelop and implement advanced security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect against evolving cyber threatsOversee 24/7 monitoring of security events and incidents across the organization's IT infrastructureManage the incident response process, ensuring swift and effective handling of security breaches and threatsCollaborate with other IT and business units to align security operations with overall organizational goalsImplement and maintain security information and event management (SIEM) systems and other security toolsDevelop and maintain threat intelligence capabilities to proactively identify and mitigate potential risksConduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilitiesEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA)Prepare and present security reports and metrics to senior management and stakeholdersManage relationships with external security vendors and service providersStay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practicesDevelop and manage the ASOC budget, including resource allocation and tool procurementEstablish and maintain a security awareness program for the organizationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's degree preferred8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of information security principles, best practices, and technologiesExperience managing a SOC or ASOC in a large enterprise environmentIn-depth understanding of network security, endpoint security, and cloud securityFamiliarity with relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirementsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and other security technologiesRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC GSECKnowledge of incident response methodologies and forensic analysisExperience in developing and implementing security policies and proceduresAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesLocation:On-site -Bengaluru, KAIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you dont meet all of the requirements.
