Position Overview:

The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations in Maharashtra, driving business growth, building relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with strong expertise in sales and a deep understanding of the construction chemicals industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Sales Leadership & Management:
• Manage, train, and guide the sales team within the assigned territory.
• Set achievable sales targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds them.
• Monitor team performance and implement strategies to improve productivity.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Develop and sustain long-term relationships with clients and distributors.
• Visit potential and existing customers to present products, build brand awareness, and close sales.
• Collect customer feedback and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Market Development & Strategy:
• Identify and prioritize key customers and prospects.
• Increase business opportunities through diverse sales channels and innovative strategies.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Team Development:
• Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to build a high-performing team.
• Set individual sales targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Provide detailed reports and updates to management on sales performance and market insights.
• Brand Building:
• Promote the company's products and values to build brand awareness in the region.
• Act as a key representative of the company in the assigned territory.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proven sales management experience in the construction chemicals or related industry.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Maharashtra.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: ?7 LPA - ?12 LPA (Based on experience and qualifications)
• Additional performance-based incentives.
