Job Description

The Field Agent is responsible for collecting, recording and uploading data for artworks and other objects under consideration into the ASIGN database. Field Agents will be working on-site at art galleries, artist studios and other collection locations including public and private institutions and spaces, and will be working closely with art collections in various mediums. Salary band for this role is available upon request.RequirementsEssential Qualifications:A Bachelors Degree in Humanities, Museum Studies, Applied Art or related fieldStrong communication skills, with written and verbal proficiency in EnglishKnowledge of at least one vernacular Indian language is idealCompetency using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerpointEssential Experience:1-3 years of work experiencePrior experience in working in the arts and culture sectorPrior experience working for a structured companyPrior experience with data collection or database management experienceKey Personal Attributes & Skills:Creative individual with drive, sincerity and ability to work efficiently and accurately according to instructionAbility to collaborate and work with a team to achieve common goalsPersonable and presentable, able to to work comfortably at various sites across the cityValues of adaptability and sincerity are criticalA proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skillsConscientious attitude with the ability to handle precious projects with careGood time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressureStrong attention to detail and good observation skills
