We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, \'anchor\', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction: The role holder will be responsible for end to end management of infrastructure deliveries at a project level and would be required to work closely with various stakeholders and component teams to ensure build activities are carried out as per laid down Barclays policies. Able to work on one or multiple projects of varying complexity . AWS Automation and infrastructure skills . Hands on experience in DevOps automation & scripting - CHEF, Jenkins, Python etc What we\'re looking for: o Release management experience for Java and .net application, able co-ordinate with the wider team and plan the release execution timely. o Well aware about Service first to understand Change scope, impact of execution and post execution validation. o AWS Certifications preferred o Tech Skills - AWS/OpenShift Cloud, Shell scripts, Chef, Python, Splunk, AppDynamics, MQ, ESaaS, Service First, Nexus,Confluence and JIRA. o Should have excellent knowledge of Windows, Linux, & AWS Architecture and Automation tool sets. o Should have understanding of following AWS Stack -. Elastic Container Service/Elastic Kubernetes Service o .Serverless Lambda Infrastructure . API-Gateway, IAM, DynamoDB, Kinesis & other foundational services o Strong hands-on experience in creating pipelines for Automation & Configuration Management such as AWS CloudFormation, Chef, Ansible, Python & Bash for CloudOpss o Hand on experience in AWS RDS, EC2, ECS container service, NFS, Block Storage, KMS, Secret Manager, Load balancer, IAM policies, Route 53, NAT GW, Transit GW, and Advance Shield. o Experience with AWS API services and Kafka technologies o Good knowledge on Devops automation, Unix/Windows scripting and deployment methodology. o Infrastructure issues at an expert technical level with Team. o Automate and execute releases to both Production and non-production environment o Contribute to the development of Barclays Compliance DevOps best-practice o Qualification - BE Skills that will help you in the role: . Build & code deployment automation using Shell, Python, JS, Perl, Groovy, Jenkins and using some of the AWS Hands on experience with AWS services. . Experience with AWS / Cloud based infrastructure tools . Good technical experience in Java, Backend & Cloud(AWS) architecture. . For development infrastructure support, provide hands-on support, problem investigation and resolution. . Proven track record of successful delivery on infrastructure projects . Hands-on in cloud environments like AWS, Openshfit, Docker. . Good to have experience in automating maintenance/management for Docker like environment . Participate in the implementation of Infrastructure automation. . Optimize the cost using innovative solutions .
