About the role



CPI are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to provide comprehensive HR support to our staff groups in India (Delhi) and Indonesia (Jakarta).






With a dual reporting line to the CPI India Director and the Global People Manager (UK), this role will be at the centre of CPI's efforts to recruit and retain great people in the region.





The HR Business Partner will serve as the first point of contact for all CPI India / Indonesia employee queries. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent management, fostering a positive people and working culture, as well as good experience with policy development, payroll and benefit management.






This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and a good understanding of regional employment laws and cultural nuances.






Roles and responsibilities



Includes but is not limited to the following and others as assigned:




Talent Acquisition:


• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Lead the full end-to-end recruitment cycle for both locations, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection




Onboarding and Offboarding:


• Along with the Operations focal point in each location oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organisation.
• Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring compliance with company policies and regional labour laws.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyse data for continuous improvement.




HR Generalist Support


• Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related issues.
• Lead on all employee relations issues in both locations, advising and guiding managers in best practise,
• Improving management practices through coaching and training.
• Facilitate CPI performance management processes and ensure alignment with CPI approach.
• Along with India/Indonesia Director explore benefits and approaches to foster a positive work environment and promote CPI culture.
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team and ensure CPI remains a great place to work.
• Support with Global HR projects and initiatives and their roll out
• Provide support to other CPI offices and teams during busy times




Policy Development and Compliance:


• With support of The Global People manager regularly review and update local handbooks, HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regional employment laws and regulations.




Payroll and Benefit Management:


• Along with Operations focal point and oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage employee benefits programs and ensure they are competitive and compliant with regional standards.
• Handle employee queries related to payroll and benefits.




Learning and Development:


• With Support of Global People Manager identify training needs and develop learning and development programs.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as necessary.




HRIS Management:


• Manage and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS).
• Ensure data integrity and provide HR metrics and reports to senior management.
• Implement improvements to the HRIS to enhance efficiency.
• Ensuring all employee information and soft copy files are kept up to date for accurate reporting.
• Oversee regular reporting across key metrics.





About you




Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in talent management and employee relations.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in India.
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
• Previous experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS platforms will be advantageous

Position Details



CPI is recruiting for one full time position to be based in our New Delhi office.



CPI has adopted hybrid working whereby staff work 60% from the office and 40% remotely. Although the nature of this role means some elements will be best fulfilled when on-site so regular office attendance will be required from this role.





CPI salary offers are determined by the level of skill and experience demonstrated by the selected candidate as well as alignment to internal equity and external market levels.
