Artwork and Print Production Authority is key role which brings FMOT for P&G Customers. A good design plays a meaningful role in your brand image. Outstanding design makes your brand memorable and easily identified by the customers.

Your Team:

This role reports to Senior Manager - Initiative and Artwork Planning Lead. The team consists of three artwork Planners based out of Singapore which deals in Final Artwork Execution and Master Copy/ Local Copy.

What success looks like:

  • Lead Artwork Team as Print Technical Guide to support both P&G Legacy and CH initiatives. [Supports - Operationalize, Efficiency & Value Creation]
  • E2E management and delivery of Artwork Initiative for AIMEA and support business in following New Product Launches \xe2\x80\x93maintain OT and RTFT[Supports - Grow Penetration and Category via 5 vectors of superiority]
  • Lead Artwork Team in the Activation of Artwork Direct to Print (ADP) Process [Supports - Outstanding Coordinated organization with smile]
  • Maintaining base business (P&G Legacy and CH West), cost savings and support regulatory inspired changes for the products for following projects [Supports: Operationalize, Efficiency & Value Creation] .
  • Plan and Manage Monthly Artwork Budget for both P&G Legacy, CH and other artwork studios.[Supports: Operationalize, Efficiency & Value Creation .
Responsibilities of the role:
  • To work interactively with the Design Firm on image reproduction, image development and to Recommend color led proofing / pre-testing to improve predictability of reproducing design intent.
  • Should provide leadership and streamlined communication, Design Firm & DDS on color setups, production art, and proofing options for modelling and simulating printing characteristics that could reduce costs in the rest of the supply chain.
  • Accountable to work with the supplier\xe2\x80\x99s pre-press internal production artists to ensure that final artwork quality meets P&G Design intent and deliver clear communication to P&G on quality measures of color match, sharpness, file integrity.
  • To communicate P&G\xe2\x80\x99s color management principles across print supply chain
  • To ensure a Graphic Target (color led digital contract proof) exists for all representative SKU\xe2\x80\x99s including all of the graphical elements. The use of PantoneLIVE\xc2\xae spectral data is required to be used on color led contract proofs.
  • To attend design planning meetings, pre-production meetings and any postproduction meetings as needed. To ensure the Printer has a complete set of artwork print quality reference materials; Contract proofs, and Normalized PDFs prior to the start of printing.
Job Qualifications

Role Requirements:

Hard Skills:

Qualification: Degree in Design / Printing and Packaging Technology related field with minimum 5 years of Design Production and Print experience.

Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of the pre-press and printing industry standards, print production, Print Processes and Press capabilities, inks, materials, Specialty inks/Finishes, Proofing and print trials.
  • Hands On Experience Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Coral-draw and Adobe Photo-Shop and should be able to minor changes to PHC Artworks.
Soft Skills:
  • Day to day communications with Design Agencies, Artwork Studios and Color Separators and Supervise their right/timely execution. Interactions with internal and external parties in the course of the work.
  • Advise creative designers and marketing organization on the extent to which packaging design idea can be technically realized in packaging production and propose/ agree.
