The Art Teacher will perform all or some of the following Job descriptions:xefx82xb7 Teach knowledge and skills in art, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history,xefx82xb7 Instruct students in citizenship and basic subject matter specified in state law and administrative regulations and procedures of the schoolxefx82xb7 Provide instruction by which students develop aesthetic concepts and appreciation and the ability to make qualitative judgments about artxefx82xb7 Demonstrate techniques in activities such as drawing and paintingxefx82xb7 Understand the versatility of acrylic paints: dry brushing, staining, layering, underpainting, mono-printingxefx82xb7 Understand a variety of xe2x80x9cmasterxe2x80x9d techniquesxefx82xb7 Knows and can apply elements of design and modern principles of artxefx82xb7 Knows the fundamentals and different approaches to drawing media techniquexefx82xb7 Provide individual and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students with varying intellectual and artistic abilities, and to accommodate a variety of instructional activities xefx82xb7 Instruct students in proper care and use of tools and equipmentxefx82xb7 Organize storage areas and control the use of materials, equipment, and tools to prevent loss or abuse, and minimize time required for distribution and collectionxefx82xb7 Evaluate each studentxe2x80x99s performance and growth in knowledge and aesthetic understanding, and prepare progress reportsxefx82xb7 Select and requisition books, instructional materials, tools, and instructional aids, and maintain required inventory recordsxefx82xb7 Plan and present art displays and exhibitions designed to exhibit studentsxe2x80x99 work for the school and the communityxefx82xb7 May sponsor exhibits from outside the schoolxefx82xb7 Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the school and/or in self-selected professional growth activitiesxefx82xb7 Communicate with parents and school counselors on pupil progressxefx82xb7 Participate in curriculum and other developmental programs, such as after-school art club xefx82xb7 Perform any other duties as may be assigned by AdministrationThe salary scale is set based on the minimum pay for expats by FRRO. The pay for Indians ranges from Rs. 35000- Rs. 80000
