We are looking for a highly-motivated, committed Teachers for Primary and Secondary section who are passionate about teaching and imparting quality education to children from marginalized communities.

Position: Art Teacher

Location: Bandra, Mumbai

Reports to: Head / Incharge

Brief about Aseema:

Aseema is a Mumbai-based NGO that is committed to equipping children from marginalised communities with high quality, value-based education, enabling the development of their limitless potential. We run three municipal schools in Mumbai in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), and one school for tribal children in Igatpuri. Aseema reaches out to 4,400 children living in vulnerable circumstances in urban slums and tribal communities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• To take guidance and plan projects with the Art Head
• To maintain a portfolio of the artwork of the class
• To organize and plan field trips to art exhibitions
• To prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and evaluation forms
• To teach and prepare students for Intermediate and Elementary art examinations
• To monitor the progress of children by correcting books and assignments regularly Required Experience and Qualifications
• Diploma / Degree in Art required
• Good communication skills
• Immediate joiners preferred
